Toyota Fortuner, Innova Crysta and others will be up to INR 1.18 lakh more expensive


At the beginning of the new financial year, several car manufacturers announced a price increase for their product portfolio. Likewise, Toyota Kirloskar engine (TKM) have also increased prices for the Fortuner, Innova Crysta and the Camry Hybrid sedan. Toyota Camry

The Camry Hybrid Premium Sedan sees the largest price increase of 1.18 lakh INR. The Toyota Camry Hybrid now costs INR 40.59 lakh * in India and will continue to be offered in a single fully loaded variant. The Camry Hybrid is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine that is coupled to an electric motor. The combustion engine has a peak torque of 178 hp and 221 Nm, while the electric motor has a peak output of 120 hp and 202 Nm. The drivetrain has a combined output of 218 hp.

Toyota Innova Crysta

Toyota had introduced a facelift for that Innova Crysta At the end of last year in India, which was launched for the base model with 16.26 lakh * INR * and for the range toping variant with 24.33 lakh * INR *. Now the prices for the Innova Crysta across the range have increased by INR 26,000. The Innova Crysta is available in two motor options in three variants: GX, VX and ZX. Toyota currently has four other vehicles in its portfolio – Urban cruiser, Glanza, Yaris and the flagship Vellfire MPV. It should be noted, however, that these vehicles were not affected by this price increase. Several other automakers such as Maruti Suzuki, Renault and MG Motor India have also announced a price increase for their range, which will apply from April 1, 2020.
