All around the World there are only big news about the Eyjafallajokull volcano from Island that started its eruption few days ago. The Air Space is on red code and everyone is scared. Well, not everyone… Top Gear is facing the fear near this scary volcano.

They’ve travelled around the world with the Hilux model; they’ve been to the North Pole and now they are near the Eyjafallajokull volcano. I guess they are trying to prove how resistant it is this car from Toyota.
They’ve had two Hilux cars to transport Top Gear team and scientists that mounted equipment to monitor volcano’s eruption; the cars were equipped with low pressure 38 inch wheels to handle this situation.

“The legendary pick-up that Top Gear simply could not destroy and which was the first car to be driven across the Arctic to the Magnetic North Pole proved the perfect transport for scientists racing to set up monitoring equipment before the long-dormant mountain blew its top and sent a vast cloud of ash 30,000 feet into the sky,” said officials from the company in a Press Release.
