The new Suzuki Hayabusa will be listed on Brand’s Indian website prior to launch

Recently, Suzuki Motorcycles India used its social media channels to announce the new Suzuki Hayabusa will reach the Indian coast this month. However, the Janese company did not announce an exact start date. While we waited for an update, the upcoming Suzuki Hayabusa has now been listed on the brand’s Indian website.

Now we can find the new Suzuki Hayabusa in the “Big Bikes” section of the website. It was listed right next to that Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT. However, no details about the new ‘Busa’ have been uploaded. The corresponding page says “Coming Soon”. So we would have to wait a little longer for the new motorcycle to come into the showrooms. In terms of pricing, it is speculated that the Suzuki Hayabusa would fall in the price range of 17 lakh * to 20 lakh * in 2021. For reference, the previous model, brought into the country via the CKD route, sold for 13.75 lakh * before being discontinued.

The drive of the new Suzuki Hayabusa is a 1340 cc in-line 4-cylinder engine that complies with the latest emissions regulations. It has been set to pump out a maximum power of 187 hp at 9700 rpm and a maximum torque of 150 Nm at 7000 rpm. It is connected to a 6-speed gearbox. In terms of electronics, the motorcycle has multiple riding modes, a power mode selector, traction control, engine brake control, bi-directional quick shift system, start control, cruise control and anti-lift control system, as well as a 6-axis IMU and cornering ABS.
