With this upcoming facelift, however, the XC60 will become a pure gasoline model in India, as the automaker is planning a gasoline and an all-electric range in India from 2022.
The facelift of the Volvo XC40 is therefore powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo gasoline engine. However, the exact condition of the engine in India has yet to be confirmed. Internationally, Volvo has this engine in three states – T4 (190 hp, turbocharged), T5 (250 hp, turbocharged) and T6 (310 hp, turbocharged and compressor).
