Sir Lewis Hamilton’s 2021 Mercedes-AMG F1 W12 E performance revealed
The Brackley Technical Center is the new home of the AMG Petronas F1 team and is ready for the championship. Public tests are only a few days away in Bahrain, so the 2021 Mercedes-AMG F1 W12 E performance was unveiled by Sir Lewis Hamilton. There’s going to be a brand new aero pack from the FIA next year, but that’s no reason for them to rest on their laurels.
The engineers burned the midnight oil and hit this year’s downforce changes without cutting the team’s costs. C. The Mercedes-Benz star has been replaced with the AMG logo accented by Burgundy by its main partner INEOS. Most of the major parts are carried over from the W11 car, with new additions to meet this year’s rulebook. Changes were made to the floor pan, brake intakes and diffuser to slow down all teams.
Therefore, the W12 contains improvements to the engine, cooling system and other critical areas. Of course, they play these cards close to their chest so it’s going to be a fun season to say the least. We hope Sir Lewis will find some time to complete the AMG ONE development.
