Rally Point East has teamed up with Manhattan Motorcars hold their first non-profit rally. Together with partners such as Abushi, Berkshire Hathaway International Realty, Baker House 1650, Diane Hendricks Catering and the MJS Groupe, the event aimed to raise funding for St. Mary’s Hospital for Children. After the registrants had added both their vehicles and a donation to the list, all participants gathered at the Manhattan Motorcars Porsche dealer in New York and were welcomed by Robert Marchhart, Marketing Director of the dealer group, together with Rosco Abushi, owner of Abushi Automotive, welcomed and Robert Heicklen, attorney for St. Mary’s. After the welcome breakfast, participants started their engines and began the 86-mile drive east. Over 50 cars took part in the rally of the day, including some notable novelties such as the 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder, Lamborghini Huracan Performante & Aventador SV, Ferrari Testarossa, Custom Restored Ford Bronco, 2019 GT3 RS, Lamborghini Gallardo, signed by Valentino Balboni and Roll-Royce Wraith along with several other Ferraris, Porsches and Aston Martins, to name a few.

The day would not have been complete if a member had come together in tandem before the rally, starting from the Rally Point East location and taking a more local route, with both groups coming back together at the same time. Guests, who greeted members, VIPs and friends of the club, were invited to view the 65 cars on display inside and out and enjoy a brunch selection put together by Chef Diane Hendricks. In total, the members and participants were able to collect almost 10,000 for the charity, which will be part of an ongoing mission for St. Mary’s attorney Robert Heicklen, as well as the partners involved.
