Nissan GT-R 2013: extra power at the 2011 LA Auto Show

Categories :

The 2013 Nissan GT-R kicks the ass of the 2012 version, by adding an extra boost of power. As opposed to its previous version, the new Nissan updates its engine with 15 extra horsepower. So now, the same 3.8 liter V6 model produces 545 hp and 463 pound-feet of torque.

This means that it will be able to hit 60 mph in only 2.7 seconds. Good thing it has carbon ceramic brakes that will contribute to the safety of all the car’s passengers.

In addition to this, GT-R also has a totally redesigned intake system, completed by a intercooler ducting and reduced airflow resistance.

This baby was present at the 2011 LA Auto Show managing to be among the stars of the exposition. Fortunately, it will also appear in the US showrooms from the beginning of January, so pretty soon we will be able to see this beauty at work!
