Italians will increase speed limit on highways to 150 km/h
Italy could increase the speed limit on highways from 130 to 150 km/h, according to a law that is debated on peninsula’s Senate. If this project is approved, the highway administrators will be required to introduce this new limit.
Simultaneously with this, they will be also introducing new safety measures so that the speed limit increase does not affect driving safety.
In other news, Italian legislators have taken the decision not to introduce a smoking ban still driving, believing there is still time to such regulation. In addition, fines were reduced by 30% for those exceeding the maximum speed in town, if you pay the fine within five days. Very interesting but it is another measure, the “exemption from the license suspension if is for driving to work”.
