Honda CB350RS reissued as Honda GB350S for January, launch in July

The Honda CB350RS is the sportier sibling of the Honda H’ness CB350. It was launched in the Indian market in February of this year and is sold through the company’s premium BigWing dealerships across the country. Now Honda is preparing to launch the CB350RS in January where the bike will be converted to the Honda GB350S.

According to the latest press release, the Honda CB350RS will go on sale in January under the name Honda GB350S. The Honda H’ness CB350 will also be available in the Land of the Rising Sun as the Honda GB350. While the H’ness will be launched on the Janese market on July 22nd, the CB350RS will be launched a little late on July 15th.

When it comes to color options, Janese customers have to choose between two paint finishes for the Honda CB350RS – Pearl Deep Mud Gray and Gunmetal Metallic Black. For reference, this motorcycle is available on the Indian market in the colors Radiant Red Metallic and Black with the color options Pearl Sports Yellow. The former has been valued at INR 1.96 lakh * while the latter will set you back by INR 1.98 lakh *. By comparison, the CB350RS will launch in January for 594,000 JPY, which is converted to 3.93 lakh INR. Honda plans to sell 4,500 units annually.

In terms of technical data, the Honda CB350RS is almost identical to the H’ness CB350. It is powered by a 348 cc single cylinder engine that delivers a maximum output of 20 hp at 5500 rpm and a maximum torque of 29 Nm at 3000 rpm. It is connected to a 5-speed gearbox.
