Back in January, we looked at a Jeep Wrangler with previously unavailable half-doors with soft windows, indicating that they will be available soon. And sometime between then and now, Jeep officially made it available with the Dual Door Group option, which will appear in the 2021 Wrangler configuration tool.
The door option is available for almost every configuration of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler, from the two-door Sport to the four-door Rubicon. The only models it is not offered with are the 4xe hybrid models and the eye-catching, street-oriented High Altitude. There are two versions available, a standard half-door with a fabric upper or a version with a fancier upper part as well as electrically heated mirrors and speed-dependent electric locks. The prices listed below depend in part on whether you have a two-door or a four-door, as you are obviously getting extra doors for the four-door.
- Standard: $ 2,350
- Premium: USD 2,550
- Standard: $ 3,995
- Premium: USD 4,395
Since these doors are part of the Dual Door Group, they are offered full size in addition to your standard doors. So if you opt for slightly better temperature and sound insulation, this is your option. Even if the half doors for the 4xe or the Gladiator aren’t listed, we see no reason why they couldn’t be fitted when you could get some from Jeep outside of the option pack. And if it’s a successful option package, we see no reason why Jeep would not offer the package directly for these vehicles.
