Ford trucks are recalled for investigations!

Bad move for Ford!

After a few additional investigation, Ford has decided to recall 16,000 F-Series pickup trucks made in 2011 and 2012 due to a transmission problem. Apparently, in these cases, the transmission can be shifted out of the park position even without pressing the brake pedal because of a problem with the brake shift interlock switch.

Among the affected models you will find names like  2011 F-150s, F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 Heavy Duty.

Ford dealers will of course, inspect and if necessary will resolve the problem without charging those who seek assistance.

So if you find yourself in this situation report any existent problem and repair your car as soon as possible!
