Advertising or marketing is the only way to get potential buyers’ attention. A few years ago Jeep and Tata Tata Motors went to war to put up large billboards on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. Now Tata has a new billboard on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway New generation safari. The hoard is huge, the largest we’ve ever seen a car advert. This billboard measures 28,000 plus square feet. The hoarding is visible from afar on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.
This video was uploaded to Tata Motors’ YouTube channel. It shows how the huge billboard lights up and attracts attention at night. It’s not the first time Tata Motors has hoarded such a massive car on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. Before, when the automaker was in a fight with jeep, they put a large billboard of the Harrier Measure 27,500 square feet. The size of the Tata Safari billboard is 225 feet wide and 125 feet high. The automaker used 265 tons of steel to build the billboard.
As for the new generation Tata Safari, it is powered by a 2.0 liter Kryotec diesel engine that has an output of 170 hp and 350 Nm. The transmission tasks are taken over by either a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The top equipment of the Safari is even equipped with a terrain response system. The SUV has three different driving modes – normal, rough and wet. The 2021 Tata Safari is offered in seven versions – XE, XM, XT, XT +, XZ and XZ + and the top specification Trim Adventure Persona.
The new generation Tata Safari is offered in both a 6- and 7-seater configuration. It’s now the flagship SUV in the automaker’s stable. Inside there are features like an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Ple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a panoramic sunroof, technology for connected cars, driving modes, an electrically adjustable six-way driver’s seat and a premium audio system with 9 speakers from JBL, cruise control, a 7-inch display for the instrument cluster and an automatically dimming IRVM.
The Tata Safari is available at retail outlets in India. In its segment, it competes with sizes like MG Hector Plus and the one ahead Hyundai Alcazar. As expected, the safari has generated quite a demand.
