The whole concept behind the Untitled Jersey City Project strucks me as amazing – an episode of 2 minutes every now and then? If you are one of the people who adapted to our current fast paced online environment where you have to quickly assimilate a piece of information and then move on to the other, then you will be intrigued by this television project. Untitled Jersey City Project is unique and with a never-seen-before concept on screen.

Of course you need a little piece of information to start with, so there it is: Jersey City is the place where everything is happenning, where a new city is being built but old bad habits remain amongst the characters – everybody wants something and they will stop at nothing to get it.

All episodes share two common elements: they start with intrique and then rewind some time earlier to allow the viewers to put the jigsaw together, and they all contain a car – the new 2012 Audi A6.

Episode 2 kicks off with two characters, a young blonde woman and a young handsome man, who let their fatal attraction get the best of them instead of being professional. Immediately after the woman says a few words, we can see an unknown man smashes the driver seat’s window. After that point, we are taken 32 hours before the current events where we can expect to find a missing puzzle piece.

We find out the young handsome man is named Frank, and he is the architect of the Waterfront Stadium Project. The young blonde woman is called Jane Kaplan, and he is a newspaper reporter working for The Ledger.

Two additional characters appear here – Ray, Frank’s colleague who tries to advise him to “play nice” with Jane, and Larry Tyerman, one of Frank’s clients and the person Frank’s actually trying to protect in front of Jane. It seems that Larry has had a bad reputation, and that’s reflecting poorly on Frank’s project. After Larry acts like a charming fellow, a true policitian in front of Jane, we can see in the last sequence how he’s beating up a guy and bossing him around.

I think the characters are doing a great job at playing their part. We have fame, money, deception, scandal, crime, sex, and a hot piece of car – the main ingredients that make a good thriller good. The only thing we, as viewers, have to do is fill in the blanks and try to put a story together. So what do the rest of you think? What could be the whole story behind the second episode of Untitled Jersey City Project? Watch the video and leave your comments below!
