The New BMW Z4

The new BMW Z4 will have its debut at Detroit Auto Show 2009 (Jan. 11-25), and will no longer have to wait until then to see it in its entire splendor. Why? BMW has thought to provide as a gift for the holidays first official details and photos with the new roadster.
At launch, the new BMW Z4 will offer three engines. Top version, Z4 sDrive35i will benefit from a twin-turbo engine of 3.0 liters that develops 306 horsepower and 400 Nm. With this engine, the German roadster accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.2 seconds (5.1 seconds for the version equipped with a double clutch transmission). The basic version, Z4 sDrive23i will benefit from a 2.5 liter engine that develops 204 horsepower and 250 Nm.

The latest version, sDrive30i will benefit from a 3.0 liter engine that develops 258 horsepower and 210 Nm. All three Engines meet pollution standards Euro 5. More than that, the new BMW Z4 comes equipped for the first Z models with a hard top that closes / opens in 20 seconds. Other news includes the technical suspension Adaptive M Suspension (guard ground can be built or decrease by 10 mm) and Dynamic Drive Control function.
