Now, this car isn’t one of the cheapest to buy brand new, but it is one of the cheapest cars to own and maintain. Just like the Echo and the Tercel, the Yaris is the very epitome of low maintenance driving. It comes with low emissions, low insurance premiums and a very pleasing gas mileage. Even though this car is a little more expensive than the Chevrolet Spark and the Nissan Versa, it’s still reasonably cheap compared to other vehicles currently on the market. In fact, the Toyota Yaris is just a great all rounder. If you’re looking for a low maintenance car – grab one of these as fast as you can manage. You won’t regret it.

Ford Fiesta (S Sedan)
The Ford Fiesta is one of the cheapest cars on the market right now. It’s also one of the most enjoyable to drive, say the experts at TopGear.com. It’s not the quickest car in the world, but that doesn’t matter. It handles like a pro, turning corners in an effortless, agile fashion that’ll have you whooping from the front seat.
