Opel Astra GTC at Frankfurt Motor Show 2011

Opel has always been one of my favorite car brands and I bet I am not the only one that adores this German wonder. And the 2012 Opel Astra GTC that has been presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2011 is nothing but a reinforcement of its quality and tenacity.

The brilliant design shares some common features with Volkswagen’s Scirocco, but has preserved Opel’s sleek allure. The front received the HiPerStrut setup of the Insignia’ s suspension preparing it better for risky situations.

The rear of the car also got plenty of attention through a discreet but efficient lifting (the lucky winer was the third door). The unitary aspect gets us thinking that Opel might be on to something, preparing us for futuristic models.
