Today’s news come from Mazda. The powerful brand showed us a teaser with Mazda6, firstly introduced at the New York Auto Show.

Apparently, this model will be lighter with several pounds than its predecessor and will probably feature a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 155 hp and 150 lb-ft of torque. Maybe a  V6 option will be in the game, but we are not sure yet.

Despite everything, the brand’s Skyactiv-D diesel powerplant offered, with the 2014 Mazda6 likely to be the first product to get the new diesel engine, which boasts roughly 165 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque.

We will find out more information at the 2012 Paris Auto Show. Sooooon!

Stay tuned and check the teaser!
