McLaren is ready to offer F1 successor

McLaren has now P11 and P12. First one will be released in 2010 and then settle in the so-called small niche of supercars, something like Ferrari F430. McLaren will be easier and more compact. While British journalists promise that P11 will be equipped with 550 hp V8, in other words, if prices is equal to the Italian car, McLaren will make a real market bomb.

P12 is given a role of a successor of legendary F1. In the Internet leaked official technical documentation, McLaren will be equipped with a V10 with 600 hp. F1 had under the hood exactly the same hp, but in 12 cylinders, so with new technology we can expect it to be even more faster.
