British car manufacturer Jaguar will present on March 2, at the Geneva Motor Show, the fastest ever made version of the XKR, which hides under the hood a 5-liter engine V8 (510 horsepower, torque of 625 Newton-meters) able to lead the car to 280 km / h.
The engine is the same as the one of Range Rover Supercharged and was set so that 2011 version of the XKR lead to a higher speed of 30 km / h compared to its predecessor.
With the 2011 release disclosing the XKR, Jaguar brings in Geneva also two packages of performance and aesthetic: Speed Pack and Black Pack.
Each of these includes personalization elements and special wheels (black with shiny appearance) and more aerodynamic bumpers.
2011 versions of the XKR (coupe and cabrio) come standard with red brake calipers, but Black and Speed packages are only available on coupes.
