Geneva Motor Show – Opel Flextreme GT/E concept
The producer from Russelsheim came at the Geneva Motor Show this year with the new Flextreme GT/E concept. The model has a length of 4.7 meters and a silhouette of a coupe, which conceal a sporty and more powerful version of the drive train that was started by the Chevrolet Volt and Opel.

Flextreme has a drag coefficient of just 0.22, well below most production vehicles in 2010 and is equipped with an electric engine of 160 hp and 370 Nm.
Flextreme’s electric engine is working with an internal propulsion system and uses 1.4 liters Opel’s E-REV. Opel Flextreme can go through up to 65 kilometers only on electric power and has a range of over 500 kilometers. Average fuel consumption of this model is estimated to 1.6 liters per 100 kilometers and CO2 emissions are estimated at less than 40 grams per kilometer.
Geneva Motor Show – Opel Flextreme GT/E concept
Opel Flextreme Concept GT/E prefigure an ecological model of enviable performance. The model can reach a top speed exceeding 200 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is accomplished in less than 9 seconds. Opel officials have made no statement regarding a potential production version of this model.
