Audi presented TT-S at the North American Internation Auto Show, on 13 of January, this year.

The engine of the Coupe version and of the Roadster version is a 2.0 Turbo FSI pushed at 272 hp and with a maximum torque of 350 Nm, between 2,500 and 5,000 rmp. The fuel consumption is estimated somewhere between 8 and 8.2 liter/100 km.

The new TT coupe accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds and the cabrio in 5.6 seconds (with the manual gear box). For the automatic S-Tronic gear box, the time is lower with 0.2 seconds (both cases).
The price for the Coupe version is of €44,900 and for the cabrio of €47,750.

Geiger Cars has doing tuning for many years only to real American cars as Hummer, Chevrolet Corvette, Ford Mustang or Dodge Viper.

The H3’s engine was improved too. Now the 5.3 liter V8 aggregate produces 300hp of raw power. Its top speed is 124mph (about 200kmph). This was achieved thanks to software change of engine and transmission, sporting air filter and complete stainless exhaust system with two exhaust tips producing beautiful sound.

Ford Team RS and Mountune Racing will offer a tuning package for Fiesta ST (2.0, 150 hp), which can be bought from Ford dealers. More important is the fact that this package will not affect the car’s guarantee.

1. Mountune Performance Stage 1 (£1,435):
- modified admission;
- totally changed evacuation;
- new soft with 165 hp.
2. Mountune Performance Stage 2 (£1,437):
- new soft with 185 hp.

Mugen Type-RR

One car that get our attention at Detroit Auto Show was the Mugen tuned Honda Civic Type-RR, debuted with a new 260 hp (194 kW) 2.2L K20A engine.

The new engine is based on the regular 2.0L Type-R unit but thanks to a stroker kit now displaces 2,157cc. It’s the same basic i-VTEC 2.0L unit, but Honda has reduced friction on the internals and redesigned the camshafts.
Other modifications include uprated brakes, shocks and springs and Mugen’s new ‘I-TCMS’ tire monitoring system.
